The American Cancer Society is engaged in a campaign to recruit people from across the United States to participate in a study to better understand how various genetic, environmental, lifestyle and behavioral factors might play a role in causing or preventing cancer. The study is seeking both men and women aged 30 – 65, from varied ethnic backgrounds throughout the United States who have never been diagnosed with cancer. The participants will be followed for at least 20 years to study how various factors affect cancer rates in the participants. More information is available here.
