Christopher M. Murphy is a partner at Doran & Murphy, PLLC. He grew up in Rochester, New York. He has a strong background in labor law, the construction and railroad industries and organized labor with particular expertise in the rights of injured workers. As a former construction worker, he understands the primary importance of workplace safety.
Mr. Murphy is a graduate of St. Lawrence University and the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in New York and Ohio, as well as in Federal Courts. He is an active member of the American Association for Justice and New York State Trial Lawyers Association. He occasionally teaches Law and Politics in the Honors Program at the State University of New York at Buffalo where he is an Adjunct Professor.
About
Mr. Murphy has devoted his practice to personal injury litigation and successfully assisted persons seriously injured in railroad and construction accidents, workplace accidents, automobile accidents, defective products cases (products liability), and premises liability accidents. He also has extensive experience in the representation of persons for occupational cancer, mesothelioma, and asbestos related pulmonary disease. During many years of practice, Mr. Murphy has represented injured persons from all over the country and achieved significant results for his clients and their families.
Mr. Murphy was recently named the Secretary/Treasurer of the AAJ Railroad Litigation Group.
Mr. Murphy is married and is the proud father of three girls. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, and golfing. He is also active with St. Mark’s Church and School where he serves on the School Board, Parish Council, Parish Finance Committee and is a Parish Trustee.
