Cancer awareness was the main goal behind Saturday’s World Cancer Day. From a social media push to lobbying and documentary screenings, the effort was to bring awareness to the disease that knows no borders.

Many people gathered to watch a documentary about the issues many people face in obtaining palliative care, and spotlighting the amazing work of health professionals in helping people with cancer.

Many of our clients have lung cancer, mesothelioma or other types of cancer associated with asbestos and diesel fume exhaust exposure. We understand the importance of participating in these efforts to bring awareness to a disease that affects so many people.
